Isle had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 18-39 punch to the gut against South Ridge on Friday. If Isle were hoping to take revenge for the 12-36 loss against South Ridge the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Isle off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving South Ridge a 1-0 record.
Next week, Isle take on Ogilvie at 7:00 PM. South Ridge are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Lake of the Woods/Indus/Rainy River next week at 7:00 PM.
