The Jurupa Hills Spartans will head out on the road to face off against the Arroyo Valley Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 14 consecutive losses for Jurupa Hills and six for Arroyo Valley.
Jurupa Hills suffered their biggest defeat since November 16, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 64-21 defeat at the hands of Grand Terrace. Jurupa Hills was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-14.
Meanwhile, Arroyo Valley came up short against San Gorgonio on Thursday and fell 50-41.
Jurupa Hills' defeat was their 11th straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-13. As for Arroyo Valley, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.
Jurupa Hills might still be hurting after the 44-22 loss they got from Arroyo Valley in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Jurupa Hills avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
