Grant's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Georgetown Bulldogs a 16-0 shutout. The contest marked the Cougars' most dominant victory of the season.

Grant's win bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Georgetown, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Grant Cougars face off against St. Mary Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Georgetown, they will take on Harrisonburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harrisonburg will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Georgetown surely won't give up without a fight.
