David Ponath threw two touchdowns and ran for two more as
St. Croix Lutheran (West St. Paul, Minn.) beat St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, Minn.) 52-20 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Joe Werz touchdown run in the first quarter, the Crusaders were up 30-7 at the half.
St. Croix Lutheran expanded its lead to 30 points entering the fourth quarter. SCL scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Ponath.
Werz and Ponath ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Huskies.
When the two teams played each other last season, the West St. Paul school came away with a 52-42 victory.
The win brought St. Croix Lutheran's winning streak to four games.
