Baseball Recap: Salem Has No Trouble Against South Atlanta

Salem won the last time they faced South Atlanta and things went their way on Thursday too. The Seminoles put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 13-3 victory. Considering the Seminoles have won seven contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Salem and bumps their season record up to 7-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for South Atlanta, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Looking ahead, Salem is taking a road trip to take on Glenvar at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Atlanta, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cristo Rey Atlanta at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th.
