Baseball Recap: Enochs Takes a Loss

Enochs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 10-4 to the Downey Knights. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since March 28, 2024.

Caden Reeve was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Enochs is 3-1 when Reeve posts two or more runs, but 4-8 otherwise.

Enochs' defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Downey, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.

While Enochs had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
