The Vista Murrieta Broncos's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Windward Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th. Vista Murrieta knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully the Wildcats like a good challenge.
Last Friday, Vista Murrieta humbled the Pumas with a 58-29 victory.
Alyson Pulsipher was her usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and six steals. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kohen Marshall, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Windward unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 60-50 to Brentwood School.
Vista Murrieta has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-16 record this season. As for Windward, their loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-6.
Vista Murrieta couldn't quite finish off the Wildcats when the teams last played back in February of 2016 and fell 74-72. Can Vista Murrieta avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
