St. Bernard has been on the road for three straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Credo Gryphon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
St. Bernard's pushed their score all the way to 99 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 100-99 to Eureka.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Samantha Sundberg, who scored seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Shanahan, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Credo and Sonoma Academy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly Credo had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Coyotes on the road and fell 51-21. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Credo in their matchups with Sonoma Academy: they've now lost eight in a row.
Like Credo, they lost despite seeing results from several players. Maya Leach led the charge by scoring eight points. Another player making a difference was Hope Madden, who scored six points.
St. Bernard's loss dropped their record down to 23-4. As for Credo, their loss dropped their record down to 11-14.
