Mount Calvary Christian came out on top against New Covenant Christian by a score of 46-36 on Thursday. Mount Calvary Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Mount Calvary Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kylie Masters led the charge by scoring 12 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Those seven steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Kathleen Smucker, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds.
Mount Calvary Christian pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for New Covenant Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games.
