Union Mine suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were the victim of a rough 58-33 defeat at the hands of Liberty Ranch. Union Mine has not had much luck with Liberty Ranch recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite their loss, Union Mine saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kyra Wooden, who scored nine points along with two steals and two blocks, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamdyn Keeler, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Rosemont came up short against El Dorado on Tuesday and fell 58-46. Rosemont has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Union Mine's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Rosemont, their loss dropped their record down to 9-15.
Everything came up roses for Union Mine against Rosemont in their previous meeting on January 9th as the team secured a 70-40 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Union Mine since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
