This season hasn't been kind to the Galeton Tigers, who are still winless after their fourth game. They were outmatched by Austin at home and fell 49-14. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Galeton in their matchups with Austin: they've now lost five in a row.
Lynlee Basile and Addison Reigle certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Basile scored 7 points, while Reigle scored 5 points. Basile scored a full 50% of Galeton's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Galeton has yet to win a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 0-4 record. As for Austin, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Galeton will play host again and welcome Otto-Eldred, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on December 18th. As for Austin, they will head out on the road to face off against Cameron County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cameron County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Thursday.
