MMI Preparatory School ended up on the wrong side of a rough 55-30 walloping at the hands of Lincoln Leadership Academy. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for MMI Preparatory School in their matchups with Lincoln Leadership Academy: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, MMI Preparatory School still got an impressive performance from Bria Kringe, who scored 28 points. That was a full 93.3% of MMI Preparatory School's points, marking the 21st time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruhani Shah, who scored two points along with two steals.
MMI Preparatory School has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Lincoln Leadership Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. MMI Preparatory School won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Weatherly at 5:15 p.m. on February 8th. Hopefully MMI Preparatory School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Wednesday. As for Lincoln Leadership Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Morrisville at 5:00 p.m. on February 9th. Morrisville is coming into the game with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Lincoln Leadership Academy will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
