Rogers is 2-8 against Curtis since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Rogers Rams will head out on the road to take on the Curtis Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Rogers will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 144th, while Curtis is ranked 29th).
Last Saturday, Rogers came up short against Olympia and fell 65-52. Rogers has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Treyshawn Weatherspoon put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 22 points along with five rebounds and four steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Amanna Anusiem, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Curtis entered their tilt with Puyallup with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Curtis came out on top against Puyallup by a score of 58-46 on Monday.
Rogers now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Curtis, they pushed their record up to 13-5 with that win, which was their 18th straight at home.
Rogers took a serious blow against Curtis in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 81-36. Can Rogers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
