Schuylkill Haven took down Shenandoah Valley 50-33. The win made it back-to-back wins for Schuylkill Haven.
Leading Schuylkill Haven to victory were Anna Schaeffer and Mckenna Runkle. Schaeffer scored 14 points, while Runkle scored 15 points. Schaeffer continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Audrey Hutchinson was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Schuylkill Haven pushed their record up to 13-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Shenandoah Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Schuylkill Haven will take on Mahanoy Area at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mahanoy Area is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Shenandoah Valley won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Line Mountain at 2:30 p.m. on January 13th.
