The biggest upset of the week belonged to Kimball, who took down 125th ranked Kimball, 28-27.
Eden Valley-Watkins moved up to 183 from 226 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Central Minnesota. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Cubs 28-27.
Rockford's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brock Deering threw for 203 and one touchdown and Brody Harstad had 122 yards receiving. On the ground Nick Suardi chipped in 49 yards. Brendon Schumacher helped Rockford's passing attack out by catching three balls for 63 yards.
Jared Steffensen made the biggest impact on defense this week as Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa fell to Pierz. The junior grabbed 1.5 sacks.
Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Jaguars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brian Goodwin has thrown for 895 yards and four touchdowns this season, while James Kuefler has 23 catches for 380 yards. Austin Kollman leads the league in rushing with 711 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Rockets take on Holdingford. Rockford's offense has scored 126 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Huskers have allowed only 76 on the year.
A big matchup in Central Minnesota this week will be when the Pioneers take on Maple Lake. At the moment, Pierz is in first, while the Irish are in third.
Holdingford extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Maple Lake, 26-21. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
