The Apple Valley Christian Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell 29-16 to Excelsior Charter. Apple Valley Christian lost against Excelsior Charter in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 46-11 score last time.

That makes it three consecutive games in which Juneau has scored at least a third of Excelsior Charter's points. Another player making a difference was Allie Raygor, who scored eight points.
Apple Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Excelsior Charter, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apple Valley Christian will face off against Academy of Careers & Exploration at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Excelsior Charter, they will head out on the road to challenge Victor Valley Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Victor Valley Christian comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
