That looming 87-26 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Garland Christian Academy yet this season.
It was another big night for Caden Sandlin, who dropped a double-double on 34 points and 11 steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Garland Christian Academy's points. Aiden Tiet was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with eight assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Poetry Community Christian's good fortune finally ran out last Tuesday. They were beaten by Yavneh Academy 66-23. While losing is never fun, Poetry Community Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1394th, while Yavneh Academy is ranked 631st).
