Fowler strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Farmersville Aztecs as they made off with a 61-35 victory. While the Redcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 2-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Leading Fowler to victory were Danika Serrano and Aubrey McInerney. Serrano almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds, while McInerney dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. Serrano is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Elyse Reinaga was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists.

Fowler's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Farmersville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Fowler has already played their next matchup, a 63-34 victory against Santa Maria on the 12th. As for Farmersville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 48-31 win against Kennedy on the 12th.
