Rancho Bernardo has gone 9-1 against Poway recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Broncos will venture away from home to square off against the Titans at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Rancho Bernardo took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They had just enough and edged out La Costa Canyon 6-4.

Noah Villa looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
At the plate, Brady Strachan was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Camden Rogers also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four matchup, Poway brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on San Marcos with a sharp 14-8 win on Friday. The Titans not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4th (when they won 8-0).
Poway also got a great performance from Owen Digenan as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Digenan also tossed a walk, which is notable because the Titans are 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-10 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Trenton Uyeda and Parker Smith did most of the damage at the plate: Uyeda went 3-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Smith went 3-for-5 with three doubles, two runs, and two RBI. Poway is 4-1 when Uyeda posts two or more runs, but 2-10 otherwise. Victor Encinas was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI and two runs.
Poway kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 2-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
The victory snapped Poway's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-11 record. As for Rancho Bernardo, their record now sits at 8-9.
Rancho Bernardo skirted past Poway 4-2 in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Broncos since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
