Addison Sylliaasen made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Aubree Milliken, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple was her first of the season.
Meanwhile, Twin River had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They never let the Chanticleers get on the board and left with an 11-0 win.
Twin River got a massive performance out of JLee Van Driel, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. Kielyn Dohmen was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base.
Twin River was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. They are 9-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Bishop Neumann's victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Twin River, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Bishop Neumann hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Twin River struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went Bishop Neumann's way against Twin River in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as Bishop Neumann made off with a 12-0 victory. Will the Cavaliers repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
