They enjoyed a cozy 50-35 win over Notre Dame Catholic. That's another feather in the cap for Brookfield, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Notre Dame Catholic lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Madison Gibbs, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals. Gibbs hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Sara Despeignes, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Even though they lost, Notre Dame Catholic smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Brookfield is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Notre Dame Catholic, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
