 Roseville also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and he was also dialed-in:  Ethan Gustus gave up four earned runs on five hits and racked up nine Ks.
 At the plate, Roseville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kyle Pettersen, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base and  an  RBI.
 Woodcreek pushed their record up to 18-7 with that  win, which was their eighth straight  on the road. As for Roseville, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8-1.
 Everything went Woodcreek's way against Roseville in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023 as Woodcreek made off with  a  9-1 victory. Will Woodcreek repeat their success,  or does  Roseville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
