Abraham Lincoln's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tatyanna Blair, who scored 12 points. The match was Blair's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Makayla Taylor-Haynes was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Swenson Arts & Tech's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Abraham Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
Swenson Arts & Tech is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech at 3:15 p.m. on January 10th. As for Abraham Lincoln, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against George Washington at 3:15 p.m.
