The Brookville Raiders's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They snuck past Kane with a 32-27 win. This was payback for Brookville, who suffered a 47-24 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Among those leading the charge was Eden Wonderling, who dropped a triple-double on 16 points, 14 rebounds, and 15 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Brookville's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kerstyn Davie, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals.
Brookville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Kane, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brookville will take on Oil City at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Kane will be home for the holidays to greet Youngsville at 6:30 p.m. on December 15th.
