The Firestone Falcons lost against the Northwest Indians back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Firestone fell just short of the Indians by a score of 55-52. Firestone has not had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brittiana McCall, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Whiting, who scored 12 points.
Firestone has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Northwest, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-13.
Firestone will challenge the Golden Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. GlenOak presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Falcons in Ohio (the Golden Eagles are ranked 225th, while the Falcons are ranked 569th). As for Northwest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Red Riders at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
