Kiefer extended their postseason success on Thursday against Adair. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Warriors. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Addison Dossett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Kynlee Connell was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Vinson, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
Kiefer's win bumped their record up to 34-6. As for Adair, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 30-12.
As of now, neither Kiefer nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
