Chamblee put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Shiloh Generals as they made off with a 9-0 win. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Generals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Madison Jones was excellent, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Sullivan, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Chamblee hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in five consecutive contests.
Chamblee's record is now 8-9. As for Shiloh, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chamblee will square off against McNair at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Shiloh, they will face off against Lakeside at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
