It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Maranatha Christian Eagles can now relate to. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-1. Maranatha Christian's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Maranatha Christian's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9-1. As for Hoover, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10-2.
Maranatha Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Hoover is on the road again on Wednesday and plays Sweetwater at 5:00 p.m. on February 14th.
