Pace has won nine straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Northview has won nine straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Patriots will host the Chiefs at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Pace 2.1, Northview 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Pace proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by nine) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Gulf Breeze 4-2.

Hannah DeMarcus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than 12 strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Kamryn Pierce was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Franz, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, while Northview put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Baker. The Chiefs blew past the Gators 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Chiefs, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.
Daviona Randolph made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Randolph was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Northview got a big performance out of Avery Stuckey, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Brooks, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Northview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Baker only posted a batting average of .174.
Northview's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Pace, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Pace has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 12.8 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Northview struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Pace beat Northview 4-0 when the teams last played back in February. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chiefs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
