Rowland is 9-1 against Wilson since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Rowland Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wilson Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for Rowland and five for Wilson.
Rowland suffered their biggest defeat since December 14, 2023 on Thursday. They were dealt a 69-40 defeat at the hands of Los Altos. Rowland has struggled against Los Altos recently, as their contest on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Isabella Tran, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Czarina Powell was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Wilson lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Thursday was a bit more commanding. They were beaten by Diamond Bar 65-31. Wilson was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-16.
Rowland has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Wilson, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 9-11.
Rowland won a match that couldn't have been any closer in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, slipping by Wilson 49-48. Will Rowland repeat their success, or does Wilson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
