In what's become a running theme this season, the Northeast Bradford Panthers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 64-37 victory over North Penn-Liberty at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Northeast Bradford has posted against North Penn-Liberty since January 19, 2021.
Tierney Patterson and Haley Litzelman certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Patterson scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and three steals, while Litzelman dropped a double-double on 12 points and 18 rebounds. Litzelman is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Northeast Bradford's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for North Penn-Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Northeast Bradford will be playing in front of their home fans against Athens at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Penn-Liberty, they will head out on the road to face off against North Penn-Mansfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Penn-Mansfield has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
