Weed waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Butte Valley Bulldogs. That's two games straight that Weed have won by just one goal.

Jonathan Mata Casorla and Pharoah Andrews Abakah scored both of Weed's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 38 goals.

Weed's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Butte Valley, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12.
