Chula Vista has gone 6-1 against Morse recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Spartans will take on the Tigers in a tournament on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Chula Vista blew Hoover out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Hoover got their revenge. The Spartans fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 7-5. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

At the plate, Isaiah Martinez led a balanced group of hitters, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Brandon Lucero, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Morse came up short against Hilltop on Tuesday and fell 5-2.

Morse's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Chula Vista, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Chula Vista has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Morse struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Chula Vista's way against Morse in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Chula Vista made off with a 10-2 victory. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
