The Desert Oasis Diamondbacks will venture away from home to  face off against the Liberty Patriots  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Desert Oasis comes in on three and Liberty on six.
Desert Oasis is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of Nevada's top teams: Faith Lutheran, who was ranked 22nd  at the time (Desert Oasis was ranked 12th). A big part of Desert Oasis'  victory came down to the chemistry between  VIncent Hales and his top target  Anthony Sarracino. Hales threw for 256 yards and four  touchdowns while picking up 11.6 yards per attempt while  Sarracino picked up 115 receiving yards and a pair of  scores. Hales is becoming a predictor of Desert Oasis' success: when he posts  at  least three  passing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
 Desert Oasis didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Faith Lutheran to a completion percentage of just 48%. The Diamondbacks weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 68.2%.
Meanwhile,  everything came up roses for Liberty against Faith Lutheran on Friday as the  squad secured  a  42-10 win. Considering the Patriots have won four games by more than 19  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Desert Oasis better keep an eye on  Ezra Sanelivi. He was instrumental in Liberty's win, rushing for 163 yards and one  TD while picking up 8.6 yards per carry. That's the most  rushing yards  Sanelivi has posted since back in September of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Selby Griego, who threw for 107 yards and a pair of  touchdowns.
 Desert Oasis' record now sits at 4-2. As for Liberty, their record is now 6-1.
