Patuxent had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 34-27 win over the Westlake Wolverines. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won four in a row.

Looking ahead, Patuxent will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on North Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westlake, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Leonardtown at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th.
