A Season-Best Performance from Jadin Arrington Leads Centex Homeschool over Grace Academy
CenTex HomeSchool came up short on Friday despite Jadin Arrington delivering his best game to date. Arrington rushed for 197 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 65 receiving yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 59 yards.
CenTex HomeSchool is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. Arrington and CenTex HomeSchool will head out on the road to challenge Hill Country K at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Korbin Schmidt Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Saturday, Lubbock T got the W thanks in part to Korbin Schmidt playing the best football he has all season. Schmidt rushed for 230 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.5 yards per carry, and also threw for 138 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (118) per game. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making six total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending a pass.
Stephenville FAITH's probably not too fond of Schmidt given he always seems to get the better of them. Schmidt rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and the Knights duked it out back in October of 2023.

Kalin Love Has Career Rushing Day
Kalin Love posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He made ten total tackles and defended three passes. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 60 yards.
For the year, Love has averaged 7 total tackles per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to two.

Sam Tarrant Turns in Season-Best Performance
King's Academy was led to victory by Sam Tarrant, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Tarrant rushed for 161 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 94 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win for King's Academy keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Tarrant will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Founders Classical Academy on Friday.

Adam Huval Delivers Best Performance of Season
Adam Huval produced his most outstanding game to date while leading King's Academy to the win on Friday. Huval picked up four sacks and made ten total tackles (6.0 for loss).
This year, Huval has averaged 6.8 total tackles per game and for the season has those 4 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 1.67 total tackles per game.
