The Colfax Falcons are still undefeated this season after their game against the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins on Saturday, but the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins came as close as anyone has to beating them. Colfax came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Patrick-St. Vincent and snuck past 51-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Colfax also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2019.
Colfax's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Juliette James, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. James hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Laurlyn Massick, who scored 10 points along with 7 assists and 6 rebounds.
Colfax's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
Colfax's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pleasant Grove at 4:00 p.m. on December 14th. St. Patrick-St. Vincent will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Richmond at 3:30 p.m. on December 19th.
