They came out on top against Western Christian by a score of 40-27. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to post nine more assists than your opponent, as The Webb Schools did.
The Webb Schools' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Xajani Badkar, who scored 13 points along with nine steals and six rebounds. Badkar is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Geniya Parker, who scored eight points along with 14 rebounds and three steals.
San Gabriel Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for The Webb Schools, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
