After flying high against the Hanover Area Hawkeyes last Saturday, the Wyoming Area Warriors came back down to earth. Wyoming Area was beaten by Lake-Lehman 41-13 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Wyoming Area can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 539th, while Lake-Lehman is ranked 228th).
Krea Bonita was Wyoming Area's leading scorer, having posted six points.
Morgan Slusser took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Wyoming Area bumped their record down to 3-9 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.6 points per game. As for Lake-Lehman, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Wyoming Area will be playing in front of their home fans against Holy Redeemer at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake-Lehman, they will head out on the road to face off against Greater Nanticoke Area at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
