Orange waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over the Bolsa Grande Matadors. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Myles Kennedy, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. Jacob Rodriguez was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Orange always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .532. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bolsa Grande only posted an OBP of .310.

Orange's record is now 14-8. As for Bolsa Grande, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Orange will challenge Anaheim at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Colonists' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bolsa Grande, they will square off against Western at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
