Athena Pastran put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 17 points. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Kaliyah Byrd was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Meanwhile, Lathrop was able to grind out a solid win over Orestimba on Saturday, taking the game 28-20. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lathrop.
Marianna Delgado was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 7 points.
West's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lathrop, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's contest: West have been dynamite from deep this season, having made 73.5% of their threes per game. It's a different story for Lathrop, though, as they've only made 13.7% of theirs this season. Given West's sizeable advantage in that area, Lathrop will need to find a way to close that gap.
