Cherokee Bluff waltzed into their game  on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by  a  14-5 margin over the Jefferson Dragons. Considering the Bears have won eight matchups by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
Cherokee Bluff got a great performance from  Gabe Gowder as he  struck out nine batters over  5.1 innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits (and only one walk). Gowder also  tossed a  walk, which is notable because Cherokee Bluff is 5-1 when he allows at  most  two  walks, but 6-7 otherwise.
 At the plate,  Bubba Coleman and  Landon Kemp did most of the damage at the plate:  Coleman  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-2, while  Kemp  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI and two  runs.
