Live Oak is 3-0 against Mt. Pleasant since December of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Live Oak Acorns will be playing at home against the Mt. Pleasant Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Live Oak focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Live Oak humbled Overfelt with a 56-6 victory. With Live Oak ahead 34-2 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Rian Henderson was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Isabella Pinula, who scored 10 points along with 7 steals.
Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant came up short against Castilleja on Tuesday and fell 49-36. Mt. Pleasant has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The victory makes it two in a row for Live Oak and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Mt. Pleasant, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
