The Troy Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 40-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sunny Hills. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Troy of the 43-40 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alisa Kangas, who scored four points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylene Vivo, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Troy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record this season. As for Sunny Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 17-11.
Troy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sunny Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Xavier Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Xavier Prep is coming into the match with three straight victories on the road, meaning Sunny Hills will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
