The Valley Christian Warriors will be taking part in a tournament against the Christopher Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
On Saturday, Valley Christian didn't have quite enough to beat Scotts Valley and fell 4-2.
Logan Mull got Valley Christian off to a strong start despite the final result, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

Meanwhile, while Christopher put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Scotts Valley. The Cougars blew past the Falcons 14-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.
David Rodriquez was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI. Jeremiah Wilkerson was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Christopher always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .513. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Scotts Valley only posted an OBP of .333.
Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Christopher, their record now sits at 2-0.
Valley Christian got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2021 against Christopher by a conclusive 10-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
