On Thursday, The Minot Magicians faced the West Fargo Packers in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Minot took their game at home with ease, bagging a 46-8 victory over West Fargo. The result was nothing new for Minot, who have now won six matchups by 26 points or more so far this season.
Minot's victory was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-2. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-8 Legacy and 2-7 West Fargo (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 27.8% over those games). As for West Fargo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Minot will be playing at home against Mandan at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. West Fargo is on the road again on October 27th and play against Shanley at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Shanley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 452 points over their last nine matchups.
