The Hanford Bullpups had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 45-33 win over Dinuba on Wednesday. For Hanford, this counts as revenge for the 50-38 loss Dinuba walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Kenyah Stubbs was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with six rebounds and five steals. That makes it 16 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Hanford's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Lockett, who scored six points along with 14 rebounds and five blocks.
Hanford pushed their record up to 7-10 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Dinuba, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Hanford will head out on the road to square off against Tulare Union at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Jocelynn Melendez and Stubbs. As for Dinuba, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Tulare Western at 7:15 p.m.
