In what's become a running theme this season, the Bishop's Knights gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They blew past Classical Academy 42-21. That's another feather in the cap for Bishop's, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Bishop's to victory were Margo Leong and Ayla Johnson. Leong almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds, while Johnson scored 18 points. Leong is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games she's played. Kamaili Lasua was another key contributor, scoring five points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Bishop's has been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. As for Classical Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
Bishop's will be playing at home against the Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Classical Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against the Firebirds at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Pacific Ridge is on a three-game streak of home losses, the Caimans a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
