The Bloomfield Bees will be playing in front of their home fans against the Creighton Bulldogs on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Bloomfield and three for Creighton.
Last Tuesday, Bloomfield came up short against Neligh-Oakdale and fell 51-41.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Madison Abbenhaus, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Bargman, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Creighton took a serious blow against O'Neill on Monday, falling 69-42.
Bloomfield has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season. As for Creighton, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.
Bloomfield strolled past Creighton in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a score of 54-40. Will Bloomfield repeat their success, or does Creighton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
