On Saturday, Spring-Ford was able to grind out a solid win over State College, taking the game 53-46. The win made it back-to-back wins for Spring-Ford.
Spring-Ford's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anna Azzara, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Katie Tiffan, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Spring-Ford now has a winning record of 2-1. As for State College, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Spring-Ford is on the road again on Friday and play against Norristown at 6:45 p.m. on December 15th. As for State College, they will face off against Altoona at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
